Organizing the Penang Largest Merdeka Youth Carnival 2009 is DEFINITELY NOT EASY at all... All the travelling... All the cooperate talking, All the benefits given.. all the youths coordinating..... aLmost took ma breath away... BUT I believe all these will be beyond satisfaction once it is accomplish... with almost 100 members with me =) we believe this will work...... TOGETHER =)

Well, I went to KL just to meet up with FLYFM... and the visit was a blast! =) Let me bring u gals/guys in for a inner look... How a media company works.. So here I am at Sri Pentas.. where all media companies are situated..

So here I am , walking down the hall way.. searching for FLYFM... it is super huge inside... wow... awesome.. =)

I walked pass ALL the radio stations.. and manage to get a snap shot of the DJs doing LIVE in front of me =) this is One FM by the way...

FINALLY!!! i found the place!! =) I met up with the brand executive of FlyFm.. Nice girl.. So I waited for her to get back to me on our carnival.. This is their office =)

She was talking to her marketing director... So I was jux ... u know.. kinda staring around and observing the inner view =) and the coolest thing i spot were............

THESE!!!!!!!! POSTERS!!!! wads so cool bout it???? EVERY POSTER HAD BEEN SIGNED BY THE CELEBS!!! XD XD XD XD.... so itz like.... wow lohz... wanna steal one... but.... heheheheh

After the trip to FlyFm, I manage to hook up with Hannah Tan's manager.. Leonard and his band (An Honest Mistake) in a live band competition =) and guess wad???? They won champion!!!!!!!!!! and of cox =) they are gonna perform for us on the very same night during Merdeka Eve =)

This is what i got from several sites...... Now using it!! vewweee effectivee... should try if u r facing any stress in work or studies... =)

First, recognize stress

Stress symptoms include mental, social, and physical manifestations. These include exhaustion, loss of/increased appetite, headaches, crying, sleeplessness, and oversleeping. Escape through alcohol, drugs, or other compulsive behavior are often indications. Feelings of alarm, frustration, or apathy may accompany stress.

If you feel that stress is affecting your studies,a first option is to seek help through your educational counseling center.

Stress Management is the ability to maintain control when situations, people, and events make excessive demands. What you can do to manage your stress? What are some strategies

Look around See if there really is something you can change or control in the situation (in my case find other sponsors lohz... if other sponsor rejects)

Set realistic goals for yourself Reduce the number of events going on in your life and you may reduce the circuit overload (I let go of the event a little and focus on my studies)

Exercise in stress reduction through project management/prioritizing (BADMINTON!)

Remove yourself from the stressful situation Give yourself a break if only for a few moments (After talking to "some ppl" who is damn arrogant.. I jux quit by givin myself a break)

Don't overwhelm yourself by fretting about your entire workload. Handle each task as it comes, or selectively deal with matters in some priority (Study 1st!!! Event leave it after exams)

Don't sweat the small stuff Try to prioritize a few truly important things and let the rest slide (Doesnt matter if sponsors turn down....dont need them anyways..)

Learn how to best relax yourself Meditation and breathing exercises have been proven to be very effective in controlling stress. Practice clearing your mind of disturbing thoughts. ( welll... I BLOG!!! XD)

Selectively change the way you react,but not too much at one time. Focus on one troublesome thing and manage your reactions to it/him/her (I wish she could understan more...*sigh)

Change the way you see your situation; seek alternative viewpointsStress is a reaction to events and problems, and you can lock yourself in to one way of viewing your situation. Seek an outside perspective of the situation, compare it with yours. and perhaps lessen your reaction to these conditions. (Seek for other sponsors lohz.....)

Avoid extreme reactions;Why hate when a little dislike will do? Why generate anxiety when you can be nervous? Why rage when anger will do the job? Why be depressed when you can just be sad? (HATE it when sponsors rejects without readin proposal! F***K up nya..... but wad to do...oh wellll)

Do something for others to help get your mind off your (Help mom wash car and wash plates XD)

Get enough sleep Lack of rest just aggravates stress (trying.....)

Work off stress with physical activity, whether it's jogging, tennis, gardening

Avoid self-medication or escape Alcohol and drugs can mask stress. They don't help deal with the problems (yea sure.... alchohol is BITTER!!! how can ppl stand it anyways??)

Begin to manage the effects of stress This is a long range strategy of adapting to your situation, and the effects of stress in your life. Try to isolate and work with one "effect" at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself. for example, if you are not sleeping well, seek help on this one problem (I talk to my mom bout it....love u mummy)

Try to "use" stress If you can't remedy, nor escape from, what is bothering you, flow with it and try to use it in a productive way ( hope everyone who is working with me... HELPS)

Try to be positive Give yourself messages as to how well you can cope rather than how horrible everything is going to be. "Stress can actually help memory, provided it is short-term and not too severe. Stress causes more glucose to be delivered to the brain, which makes more energy available to neurons. This, in turn, enhances memory formation and retrieval. On the other hand, if stress is prolonged, it can impede the glucose delivery and disrupt memory." Most importantly, if stress is putting you in an unmanageable state or interfering with your schoolwork, social and/or work life, seek professional help at your school counseling center

1. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: "I am very rich. Marry me!" - That's Direct Marketing

2. You're at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says: "He's very rich. "Marry him." -That's Advertising

3. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day, you call and say: "Hi, I'm very rich. "Marry me - That's Telemarketing

4. You're at a party and see gorgeous girl. You get up and straighten your tie, you walk up to her and pour her a drink, you open the door (of the car)for her, pick up her bag after she drops it, offer her ride and then say:"By the way, I'm rich. Will you "Marry Me?" - That's Public Relations

Entrepreneurship in UUM (a moment with Michael Teoh)

A moment with our outstanding Michael Teoh.. A very outstanding youth that i shared so much with him today.. A journey that made me realiz I m in the right path in being an ENTREPRENEUR... We got Edward and also Joel to share their journey too.. A very wonderful program organiz by UUM undergrad students... overall i would judge 10/10

This is how it looks like in UUM hall.. All the paricipants are mostly SIFErs.. Student in Free Entreprisin.. Awesome right???

This is Mic.. Manage to grab him b4 his speech.. He was the first to ever made it to the world cup of SIFE.. international level and the youngest of his age.. what is more surprising would be he represents New Zealand! and not Malaysia... he furthered his studies there.. and outbeat other participant... youngest and the bez... go Malaysian!!

This is Edward... Another outstanding youth.. He is now the advisor of SIFE.. introducing SIFE to the UUM students.. they already form their organization and now carryin out various activities.. IMPRESSIVE

Oh yea... did i mention i was the invited guest?? FIRST hand to view this succesful stories soon to be launch to ALL universities in Malaysia.. sittin together for refreshment with MyPath company, the SME representative, the directors of UUM..**honoured..

This is THE student Council of KDU PG!!! Hell yea ..we rock the college hard!!! XD organizing LOADS of events.. making the environment in the college ALIVE!!! love my team so so so so MUCH =)

Sticking the team together is definitely our advisor.. Miss Joey Phuah... juxx behind me.. then above her is our SEXYtary.. Ong Bee Ling.. seriously HOT one.. Our proposals would be a MESS without her... On Joey's right would be our WebMaster(guy with the spec).. Our videos, image editor, graphics designs, website updates ALL handled by him... very OUTSTAnDing...beside him...Calvin! brainstormer for all our events.. you should listen to him TALK... =) above him.. (the girl pointing "peace"sign) Mickey!!!!! My very very very very BEZZZ fren..same class.. same style.. our very tressurer.. very soft spoken,,.. but wait til her ideas shower u!!! Sitting beside her.. ALDON!!! excellent in respondin guy.. he can give u information in jux a snap of fingers.. ok ok ok.. now look at the very cool evil looking guy... wahahah Vincent LEE XD seriously this guy,.. very very very FUN to work with.. very organiz and responsible person... beside him Xue Ling!!! omg... very very very cute gal.. can use her for markettin purposes... attract more ppl to our event maaaaa.... heheh and finally last but not least.. wathi!!!! always stick with Xue Ling wan .. very responsible gal.. u name it.. she carry it out... The MSC Visit

These are the speakers for the MSC conference =) Awesome people!! They gave their speech about Web 2.0!

This is the first speaker, Daven, he talks about his website http://elevyn.com/ very very helpful site that he created... Helping all the unfortunate ppl and at the bottom most pyramid... Using simply web 2.0

This guy .. second speaker.. name: Daniel... the guy who came up with BarCamp.. Giving a platform for aspiring young entrepreneurs to expand their horizons..

3rd speaker.. Asyraf... from the government body, MSC (Multimedia Super Corridoooor) He stressed on how the community now adays.. should use social networksing to connect not only with the government.. but also to business.. a fast way to access business in an efficient and also low cost consuming method =)

4th speaker... Beside me.. the famous outstanding Young Entrepreneur in Malaysia Michael Teoh... He spoke on how Youths could be the future leaders,... and how resourceful a youth market can be... can check out his blog too!
